FALL RESIDENCY

Geneviève Marois-Lefebvre is a visual artist who lives and works in Frelighsburg, Eastern Townships. She holds a master’s degree in visual and media arts from the Université du Québec à Montréal. Since then, she has developed a practice centered on the image, in connection with the question of emotions and narrative. Depending on the project, her works take multiple forms, from installation, to photo or video, to text and collage. She is particularly interested in the zones where the real and the imagined meet, between the beautiful and the ugly.
