Jobs and internships

Join the ranks of an exceptional team who contribute to the success of one of Canada's premier gardens.

Created between 1926 to 1958 by Elsie Reford, an avid gardener and plant lover, Les Jardins de Métis / Reford Gardens are a national historic site and recognized as one of the premier gardens in North America. They offer many attractions other than the historic gardens – art in nature, exhibitions, the ERE 132 Eco Home and colourful installations of the International Garden Festival. In Estevan Lodge, discover the history of the gardens and enjoy a lunch in the dining rooms featuring the unique tastes from the gardens’ plant collections.

A job/internship at Les Jardins de Métis/Reford Gardens is:
  • Work in a place of exceptional beauty;
  • Be part of a dynamic team of more than 20 experienced staff;
  • Join a group of 25 summer staff, interns and trainees from Canada and around the world;
  • Play a part in a laboratory of ideas that showcases the avant-garde in gardening and the culinary arts;
  • Participate in a unique and varied program of music, environmental programs and special events.
