Reford Gardens - How to Get Here

The Gardens are located on route 132 in Grand-Métis, on the south shore of the St. Lawrence River, mid-way between Rimouski and Matane.

Road access

From west: Take Highway 20 until the end of Highway 20 in Trois-Pistoles. Then follow Route 132 to the east. You will return to Highway 20 after the Bic municipality to Mont-Joli. Take Route 132 and follow signs to the Reford Gardens.

From east: From Percé, follow Route 132 along the St. Lawrence River. After the town of Matane, follow the blue tourist signs towards the Reford Gardens.

From south: From Campbellton, take Route 132 West. After Mont-Joli, follow the tourist signs to the Reford Gardens.

Access by bus

A daily service from Quebec City and Montreal, via Rivière-du-Loup and Rimouski, serves Mont-Joli. For more information, contact Orléans Express au 1 888 999-3977.

Rail access

A train service between Montreal and Halifax serves Mont-Joli three times a week. Contact Via Rail at 1-800-361-5390 or 1-888-VIA-RAIL for further information.

Airline access

The Gardens are located 10 minutes from the regional airport of Mont-Joli. The airport is served by flights from Air Canada from Montreal and Baie-Comeau. Contact Air Canada for more information.

Access by ferry

Four (4) ferries link the two shores and make the Reford Gardens accessible to travelers from the north shore of the St. Lawrence River.
